Tens of thousands of civilians have fled the conflict in northern Sri Lanka and are moving into temporary displacement camps, while the humanitarian community prepares to respond to the ever-increasing needs. World Vision is providing food, water and emergency supplies to the camps and also conducting special programmes for children and pregnant and lactating mothers.
